TEAM OF THE WEEK
U11 Kites looked to progress through to the next round of their league cup on Sunday!
The team flew out the blocks with relentless pressure and got their reward with 3 first half goals. Some impressive passing, team play leading to the goals coming from Jessica, who netted 2 and Niamh who scored 1.
Kites defended well and kept their lead going into half time. After 5 changes at half time, the Kites continued to dominate, with plenty more thrilling chances to increase the lead.
Halfway through the second half, Jess netted the fourth and final goal of the game from close range to seal a comfortable victory through to the next round.
Kites defended brilliantly throughout the game limiting the opposition to only a couple of shots on target.
Player of the Match went to Esme, who produced some fantastic tackles and great passes down the line!
