SSE Wildcats 2018
Posted by Richard Povey on 13 February 2018
Arnold Eagles Girls and Ladies FC have been approved once again as a 'Wildcats Centre' to introduce girls aged 5 to 11 to football and will be the only one in Gedling Borough. We are delighted to have won this opportunity and now we need volunteers to help with the sessions which will be on FRIDAY FROM 5 TO 6PM AT REDHILL Leisure Centre STARTING ON APRIL 13TH. The activity is for a minimum of 16 weeks.
We require qualified coaches and enthusiastic volunteers to help run these sessions for girls aged 5-11. The lead coach is our Chairperson Dave Long, and we need 4 volunteers/coaches per session .
So please consider whether you can help, even if only for one session!
There is also the opportunity for a volunteer or coach to attend a training day for the Wildcats Centres . The training day will be held at St George's Park near Burton on Trent, which is the FA's state of the art training facility, where the England Football Teams train. Whoever volunteers will get the opportunity to practice and receive some coaching on the latest 3G pitches at the centre. Expenses for car travel will be paid.
Please note it will run from 0845 until approximately 1645 so it is a full day. The dates available will be provided.
