PROMOTION SECURED

We are delighted to announce that today it has been confirmed that our Ladies Maroon team have been promoted to the East Midlands Regional league.
This follows a highly successsful season in which they didn’t lose a single league match narrowly missing out on the league title by 1 point to Notts County but then winning the senior Red division.
Team manager Neil Matthews had this to say once the news had been confirmed
“I am delighted for the players, they showed great loyalty to the management team and club to stick together despite having to drop down a league due to our name change. Their commitment to training has been superb they have not dropped their standards throughout a long season. Through sheer hard work, talent and determination they finished the season unbeaten in the league. A fantastic achievement that has been rewarded with a well-earned promotion. We are incredibly proud of the whole squad and are looking forward to the new challenge of next season.
This is an important step for our club, Arnold Eagles has only been in existence since 2017 but it is excellently run for the benefit of all players right from our amazing wildcats all the way through to the senior teams. It is great to be part of a club where everyone is pulling in the same direction and every player and all teams are equally important. Arnold Eagles future looks very bright.”
