Managerial changes for the Ladies Gold Squad
Posted by Richard Povey on 25 January 2019
The club are sad to announce that Ladies Gold manager EV Burrell has decided to step down from the position after Sunday’s match v Notts County.
Ev has worked tirelessly since he stepped up from coaching the under 18’s last season but due to work commitments he has decided that he needed to step aside
The club would like to thank Ev for all his hard work during his time at the club, wishing him all the best for the future and hopefully a positive result to finish on Sunday.
The Eagles have been quick to find his replacement once he had made his decision and are delighted to announce our new player/manager, starting from Monday. Well known within the women’s game and popular already at Arnold Eagles, the committee are extremely pleased and excited to promote Selina Luciw to the role as player-manager..
Selina has a wealth of experience from playing at clubs including Arnold Town and Notts County and until a series of injuries has been a constant figure with the Eagles Maroon squad.
She will be assisting Ev on Sunday and we wish her luck in her first coaching position
