Flyers Vs Newark!

Flyers played away to Newark in a top of the table clash. A game where you'd be guaranteed to see goals, as both teams have shown they know how to hit the back of the net.
Flyers started the game in the ascendancy, creating a couple of early chances, before Rosie Marshall opened the scoring.
This goal settled the Flyers but maybe too much as they took their foot off the gas, conceding 2 goals from the home team before half time. Half time 3-1 to Newark.
The second half saw the Flyers come out again with a point to prove. Again, they got their just reward with a 2nd goal from Rosie, pulling them back into the game quite early on.
This was short-lived however, as Newark once again managed to score, reinstating their two-goal cushion.
Credit to the Flyers though, they continued to push the hosts and created some real chances. They made one of them count via Fern Williams slotting home.
Unfortunately, the comeback wasn't on as Newark scored a 5th goal to put end the game as a Newark win.
