Flyers Vs Mansfield Town Devs

Flyers started their first home game of the season off strong. Creating lots of early chances but the Mansfield keeper making good saves to keep the ladies out.
Chloe C opened the scoring and netted a second with a calm finish, to double the lead for Flyers. The ladies pressed to create more but chances could not yet be added to the tally.
Flyers took their foot off the gas in a 10 minute spell where Mansfield took the advantage and scored 2 in quick succession to level the game.
The Flyers soon switched back to their football with Claire netting her first 2 of the game to take the ladies into a 4-2 lead at half time.
The second half started much like the first with Flyers out on top, continuing to test the Mansfield keeper. But once substitutes Caitlin and Selina entered the field, the keeper couldn’t stop the combined cross from Selina and finish from Caitlin; less than a minute of both ladies being on the pitch.
Mansfield tried to initiate a late comeback, finding a third goal making it 5-3, but the Flyers killed the game off with a Jacee cross to find Claire, who confidently finished the quality cross to get her hat-trick, ending the game 6-3.
